SmartCheck is showing errors with my return for lines 6, 21, 22, and 23 of the Tax Prep W-sheet. It says I need to enter state IDs for each of these lines.

Each value/amount associated with each of these lines is 0, so no state ID should be needed. Where can I fix/eliminate these values so my return passes the check?

I found the issue.  Even though these state-related entries contained amounts of 0, entering a state abbreviation for them resolved the SmartCheck issues.  Looking at some of the entries, I did select a state when entering the values of 0, so I don't know why the software doesn't seem to have loaded/retained them correctly.

If the Social Security benefits is the Only income to be reported on the tax return and there is no federal income taxes being withheld, then there is no reason or need to file a tax return.

Social Security is not my only income; I work full-time, and federal taxes are withheld..
