State of Domicile for H-1Bs

I am an H-1B visa holder and am considered a resident for 2015 tax purposes. When asked where am I "domiciled", should I be putting the home of my passport country or a state in the United States? I have lived in the US for the past 6.5+ years (4 years undergraduate and 2.5+ years of working) and have lived in two states (New York and California). I moved from New York to California in the 2015 year for work purposes.

Since you are a resident and been living in US for several years, you would select the state of residency as your domiciled place in US.
