Rip Off State Returns

Just filed my fourth and fifth state returns. NY e-filing was free from NY. TT charged me for the other four. Shouldn't one of those four been included in the price of Home & Biz? You can't include NY as the included for free e file when it's already free. Kind of greedy don't you think Turbo Tax?

I can see your frustration and where the misunderstanding came from.  On the website for Home and Business it says "1 state download 5 federal e-files included". There is not a "free state e-file" in the home and business, that is an additional fee to e-file. Only the federal comes with e-file and it is good for 5  federal returns.

Turbotax would have been happy to charge you for five, but NY passed a law making it illegal to charge for e-File.

Sorry. Still feel it's an overpriced rip off.
