I am preparing my 2019 tax return, but I have some 2018 CA and Fed Tax Returns from last year I need to enter - There is a 1040 form, and I don’t know where I am entering the information! Can you please explain?

Don't know what you will need to enter from 2018. It will ask for any 2028 info it needs as you go along. You will need the AGI from line 7 at the end to efile.
