State Return - Retirement Income and Pension Summary

I am in the process of completing my state return (Michigan). I am working on the Retirement Income and Pension Summary and I am unable to select the proper type. It has assigned the type as N and I am trying to change it to P but it will not allow the change. I believe that this is an "unanticipated feature" of the program. Is anyone able to assist me with this or will it require a "fix" to the program?

It depends. Are you in the forms mode trying to change it in the summary? Instead go back to step by step and edit the 1099R where you entered the information in the first place. and go to Box 7. Change the code there from N to P and I think you will be successful.
