Where do you enter the quarterly payments that were made in 2020?

To enter, edit or delete estimated taxes paid (Federal, State, Local) -
Or enter estimates paid in the Search box located in the upper right of the online program screen. Click on Jump to estimates paid
Or click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.
Click on Tools
Click on Topic Search
Type in estimated tax payments, click on GO

Thanks for the excellent reply. I followed the directions you gave and realized that I had already entered the information in the federal part of the return. When I originally did the NYS taxes it was not giving me credit for the payments. After I reviewed the section of the federal section that you suggested I returned to the NYS section and saw that it was giving me credit for the payments. Either there is a bug in the software or I am loosing it. Oh well, all that ends well is well. Thanks again!
There is a definite bug in the software. After I competed the NYS taxes the amount due reverted to the amount that would be correct had I not made any quarterly payments.

Sometimes when additional information for a state tax return is entered in the federal section and the state return has already been completed you need to go back through the state tax return from the beginning so the changes take affect properly.
