Previous Year State Return

Purchased the 2016 home and business turbo tax on a cd, downloaded it and still have the Turbo Tax program on my computer. In 2016 we filed federal and one state, however started a non-resident state form, but were told we did not need to complete it. Now we have been told it is needed, but when we go to click on your state returns in the program, the second state has a start button, not an edit button. When you click on the start button, screen pops up says - lets complete your purchase online. I click continue, then get a we're having trouble processing your request, provides a link that doesn't work and a phone number however that cannot connect to an agent (1-800-4 Intuit). How can we finish the other state return?

Previous Year State Return

First make sure the program is up to date ... then try the state section again.
