I'm a returning Montana native. Montana requires all the Federal and prior State tax forms as support for the current filing year (2025 in my case) when you are a part year resident, as I am. This includes Schedule D for example. My question is: When I file my tax return for Montana electronically. Will/Does Turbo tax send ALL (I mean ALL) the necessary documents to support my e-filing??? Many thanks and Happy Saint Pat's.

Yes, TurboTax generally sends all required supporting documentation—including your Federal Form 1040, Schedule D, and other schedules—electronically when you file your Montana part-year resident return. TurboTax's state filing system integrates with your federal return data to meet Montana's requirements for Part-Year Residents (Form 2).
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!
Hi,
Thanks very much for the prompt reply!
In the reply you indicated all the Federal Forms would be filed with my Montana Form 2 e-filing return. My original question also referenced the required forms from New Mexico, where I moved from.
I plan to electronically file income tax returns from both Montana (form 2) and New Mexico (PIT forms).
Will my Montana Form 2 e-filing also include the required NM PIT forms?
Many thanks and have an great rest of the day!
When the returns get electronically filed, all the required New Mexico forms are included as needed.
