Part year resident Ga/Tn here. I’m portioning wages, w2 didn’t do it. I got paid on the day my residency changed. Which state do I put that check under?

State you moved from.   Employer pays for work done.

As ee-aa said, employers pay for work after you do it in most cases- you may want to check the dates that the check cover, if the pay periods are a few weeks behind, you may have worked additional time in your old state.
