One state download on Home & Business

I just bought the 2019 Home and Business. I did my moms taxes (state is GA) first (really only need the most basic version of TT to do hers) and then when attempting to do mine everything is fine but it will not let me do my state taxes (GA) as I guess I must have used up my one free download even though we both file in GA.

My fault, should have read it properly when buying tho have never run into this before when I used Deluxe or Premier and always did both our tax returns. I don't mind paying to download it again but how do I get to do my state taxes. Please don't tell me I have to buy Home and Office again.  Please advise. Thanks.

No.  You get 1 free state program download.  You can do all returns in that state.  You only need to pay for another DIFFERENT state.   Something is wrong.  Does it think you need a different state?  Check your zip code or state under My Info.

You will need to pay a fee to efile each state return or you can print and mail state for free.

Thx so much for the prompt response. You are absolutely correct. It does indeed let me do the same state again for another return.
