I bought a new car in 2018. In IL. I'm an IL resident. Where do I enter the state and local taxes on my federal return and on my state return?

On your federal return, sales taxes are entered in the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid of Deductions and Credits.

Those taxes are not deductible on your state return.
