On form 1040A of my tax return, lines 47 and 48a show a refund amount; so, why do lines 49, 50, 51 on my 1040A show $49, $50, and $51 in the amount section?
I completed the 1040A, ran the review, and was told the return was correct. But obviously not. Several other people have the same complaint. This program error needs to be fixed.

When is this going to get fixed?

It's clearly the line number showing up in the amount field, but I have confirmed that it only shows up there on the PDF copy. I noticed that all of the line numbers seem to appear a second time at the end of each line of text, but only 49, 50 & 51 show up in the amount field.
I have reported the bug to TurboTax. Thanks for confirming, and I'll let you know if I hear something.

So what is the temporary solution? Ink or cross out the $49, $50, $51 in order to file a paper return by mail?
