Number of tax retruns with Online version?

I need to file 6 family tax returns, how many does the online product provide.?

Using the online editions you can only complete one tax return per account and user ID.  To complete another tax return using the online editions you need to create a new account with a new unique user ID.

If you need to complete multiple tax returns it is easier and more cost effective to use the desktop CD/Download editions.  With the desktop editions you can create, complete and file as many returns as needed at no further charge.  The desktop editions come with 5 free federal e-files included in the purchase price.  Any federal tax returns over 5 would have to be printed and mailed.

For a simple child's return (since you have more than 5 to do) you could use the FREEDOM version if they also need a state return ... the FREEDOM version will not come online until mid January ...
