I live in MS, but work for a company based in MO as statutory employee. W-2 has ST wages listed in bx 16, all other ST boxes are blank. Will I be forced to file MO taxes?

Federal is withheld on W-2

Not necessarily.  You would only have to file a Missouri return if either you worked in Missouri or Missouri tax was mistakenly withheld.  But do check all copies of your W-2s.  Any states where taxes were withheld should be itemized, possibly on several copies of your Forms W-2.

All of your income will be taxed in Mississippi, because that is where you live.  You will file nonresident returns for income earned in any other states listed on your Forms W-2, and Mississippi will give you a credit for taxes you might pay to any other states.  If you have any state nonresident returns to file, prepare these first.

The fact that the company is located in Missouri does not mean you pay taxes there.  You only pay taxes in Missouri if you live there or work there.
