I am using Turbotax for Business and have selected the North Carolina state module. In preparing my return, TurboTax for Business has included in the state section, North Carolina form NC-PE. I cannot find instructions and support for this form in or out of Turbotax. Is this form calculated by Turbotax or do I have to sort through and feed the values in to Turbotax?

I don't know anything about the how the Software works for Partnership/Business tax returns..
BUT... a PDF of instructions by the NC DOR for the NC-PE can be found on this page:
Partnership Tax Forms and Instructions | NCDOR
Thank you for your input. I looked at that link earlier, however, it does not contain any instructions for the form. Only the web fill-able and the hand entered versions. I will be calling the NC DOR tomorrow for clarification.
I just spoke with a representative at NC Dept of Revenue. He advised me that there are no instructions available for form NC-PE. The form should be self explanatory. My observation is that what is self explanatory to the author is not always self explanatory to the user.
I am still trying to figure out how Turbotax handles this form. Does it populate/calculate from data I have entered or do I need to determine what if anything goes into it. At present it is a blank form and I have entered all data I have into Turbotax Business.
Sorry, few of (to none of?) the people on this public Forum have used the Business software for NC filing.
( maybe @NCperson ??)

Some things in here, there may be no one who has experience with it.
Perhaps you might need to go to a tax accountant this year to work thru how it is supposed to be entered...then if you understand what they did for 2024, you "might" be able to do it yourself for 2025 taxes next year.
It certainly might be worth it, instead of getting it totally wrong, and having to deal with the mess later.
