No, not unless there are NC taxes withheld from the 1099-R for some reason. Otherwise, if you are a resident of SC, it's taxable in SC.

No...Not unless you started receiving the $$ while you were a resident of NC and moved after the funds started to be distributed.

IF you did start getting the $$ before moving to SC...then only the $$ received while actually an NC resident would be NC taxed.

IF you were already a resident of SC when you started getting the retirement $$, then it is only SC-taxable..
