New York State filing issues last year, still happening?

Last year I had a great experience with TurboTax until I tried to file my NY State taxes. I never really understood why, but it never let me electronically file and I had to mail them in. Has the issue been fixed for this year? Can I use this program to submit my NY State taxes?

Still having problems with NC state purchase too.  Resolution reduction and running in administrator mode fixes that worked in previous years do nothing.

Hours with support on the phone with no resolution.

Thank you for the follow-up. I had to mail it because the turbo tax system was not able to electronically file it for some reason. I remember it was not "just me" but I don't think I was even clear about why this was an issue.  Do you know anything about turbotax's ability to file NY State taxes?

New York State has several rules that can limit your ability to efile.  Since you aren't sure what caused you to not be able to efile last year we can't know whether you'll have the same problem this year.  I can assure you that New York is accepting efiled returns and TurboTax customers are sending them, however.
