New York is including income I earned in Georgia (as a non-resident/college student). How I change the income for my state taxes to be just the income I earned in NY?

Are you a resident of NY?  If so, your resident state will tax you on your worldwide income, no matter where earned, therefore your Georgia non-resident income will be taxed on your resident state return.  But, depending upon the state, you may get credit on your resident return for taxes paid to another state, therefore TurboTax recommends that you complete your non-resident return first.
