My wife was retired and lived in Texas and I lived and worked in missouri for 2016. When I do our federal taxes and move it to the Missouri tax it puts her wages in.

My wife was retired in 2016 and lived in Texas. I worked and lived in Missouri and retired on Oct 1 2016 and moved to Texas.  I finished my federal taxes on Turbo and then when I went to do my Missouri taxes it throws my wifes retirement into the calculation of total wages and gives me a 2000 tax bill.  How do I do my Missouri taxes for myself without her retirement wages being calculated

If you and your wife were residents of different states during the 2016 tax year, you would still be able to file your federal income taxes jointly but you would want to file your state income taxes as married filing separately. This way her TX sourced income will not be taxed in MO.
