If she lived with you in California all year, she is a California resident for tax purposes. California law is that a person will be presumed to be a California resident (for tax purposes) for any taxable year in which he or she spends more than nine months in California.  Drivers license or other ID is irrelevant.

If she lived with you in California all year, she is a California resident for tax purposes. California law is that a person will be presumed to be a California resident (for tax purposes) for any taxable year in which he or she spends more than nine months in California.  Drivers license or other ID is irrelevant.
