After completing your federal return do your non resident NH return and then your resident MA return. MA will give you credit for any tax paid to NH so you won’t be double taxed.
Are you a resident of NH or of MA?
If you're a resident of MA, all your income is taxable by MA, regardless of where you earn it.
If you're a resident of NH, only the portion of your income that you earned from work actually (physically) performed in MA is taxable by MA.
NH does not have an income tax on earned wages or salary.
