My mother's estate paid taxes on interest/dividends/capital gains in Utah. Can I file a return to get a refund (if any) from Utah? I am a Maryland resident.

If these taxes are listed on your K-1 you can file a non-resident return for UT, and that would determine if you get any taxes back.
If not on a K-1 and the Estate 1041 paid the taxes to UT you cannot file to get the UT taxes back.
