My employer is in RI and I am in MA. Block 16 shows my state wages for RI and MA are the same. When i fill out my State(s) forms it shows the same income in MA and RI ?

If you work in Rhode Island that would be correct, you pay tax to Rhode Island for the money you earned in Rhode Island.

Because you are a Massachusetts residence you report and are taxed on that income in Massachusetts, however, on your Massachusetts return you can get a credit for taxes paid to Rhode Island.
