What state do you live in?

It seems as though there may be an error in the Personal Information section on either the Federal side or the state interview.

Please revisit those sections if the message taxpaper and spouse live in separate jurisdictions persists, they should delete the state return and start it over. Then retransfer the correct information from the federal.

Could you help me understand why the total from my W-2 and the expenses I entered doesn’t match the total income shown in the 'Explain My Taxes' section?
