My domicile is in South Dakota. I worked remotely part-time on an hourly basis (not contract) for a company located in Illinois. Do I file as having worked in Illinois?

In general worked 3 days a week for a total of 24 hours. I am considered an employee, not a contractor and expect to receive a W-2.

If you never worked or lived in Illinois at any time in 2024 then you do not file an Illinois state income tax return.
