Yes, the state withholding entered as part of your Federal return should automatically transfer to your state return.
Try deleting or removing your state return and starting it again. That will re-initiate the transfer process for all the data.
If you are using TurboTax Online, click the trash can icon or Delete next to your state. If you are using a CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, go to File > Remove State Return.
Deleting and then redoing the KY return did not result in recognition of the $240 withholding. A tax due of $111 is shown. It should be a refund of $129.
As my recent note said: The suggestion did not work. The KY tax withholding is not forwarded from the federal tax return to the state return. Turbotax says I owe $111; it should say a $129 refund.
I created a "test" KY state income tax return that had KY withholding on a W-2. The W-2 KY state withholding was entered in the federal section of TurboTax. I check the state return and the W-2 state withholding transferred to the KY state income tax return.
Please check your KY income tax forms and TurboTax state for the withholding amount. The KY withholding is reflected in TurboTax, in the KY state section, on the Your Kentucky Bottom Line screen, under Payments and Balance Due.
