I was a full year resident of Missouri in 2025, but earned all my income working in Arkansas. The Missouri state Turbo Tax program is NOT acknowledging state income tax paid to Arkansas (APPORTIONED TAX LIABILITY). The program is calculating tax liability in Missouri as if I earned all the income in Missouri. I followed the instructions and populated the 2025 AR1000NR first before working on Missouri state edition. The program is not correctly populating form MO-CR (Row 11). I looked back at my 2024 state returns (completed using Turbo Tax) and did not have an issue. How can this be corrected?

My test (Missouri resident but working in Arkansas) shows the correct Arkansas tax on the AR1000NR, as well as the correct credit on the MO-CR, line 11.
As I was doing the Missouri interview, I noticed a number of questions that could affect the Missouri credit.
There should be a screen tilted "Out of State Tax Credit Summary". It should show a row with AR under state. You should click Edit for AR and follow through the sub-interview.
You will be asked about income from Arkansas - presumably TurboTax has already filled in the amount from your Arkansas return, and several other questions. In these screens, you have the opportunity to accidently set your Arkansas tax paid to zero (killing your MO-CR tax credit.
Anyway, go back to the Missouri interview, and pay attention to the questions about Arkansas.
Thank you. Your direction to go back to the AR "EDIT" remedied the problem. I wish the directions would have been more prescriptive. Since I had already completed the AR state tax questions, I did not understand the need to revisit AR state taxes for more questions. Thanks again for the help.
