I am a resident of North Carolina and receive a military pension. As a contractor, I had work in Minnesota and was taxed as a non-resident. For the MN state taxes, one of the questions that Turbo Tax ask's for is if I recieved a military pension (and I do). Do I check this block or leave it blank, since I would be claiming a pension in two different states.

Since you are a resident of North Carolina, you do not need to exclude the military pension, since it would not be taxed by Minnesota as a nonresident.
Thank you for the reply, based upon your answer, I can go ahead and check that I receive military pension for MN as well.
