You are going to file a part year PA return and a part year NJ return.  You will want to do your PA return first.

Since you worked in NJ while you were a PA resident, you would say YES, you had NJ source income while a non-resident.

Thank you for your prompt response. But my thought was because PA and NJ are reciprocal states and the only source of income are wages....then does a non-resident return need to be done or just the part year? 100% of the wages were earned in NJ but 100% of the withholding was PA even though I moved to NJ part way through the year. If I answer ....if I answer NO to “do you  have NJ source income while a non-resident then I end up with only a part year return in PA and NJ. Does that question EXCLUDE wages earned in a state with reciprocity?

@lori428 -- If your income from NJ while you were a PA resident consisted entirely of W2 wages/salary , you would answer NO to the question about NJ-source income.  That's because PA residents are not subject to NJ income tax on wages/salary earned in NJ.  You would answer YES to the question only if you had NJ-source income other than wages or salary.
