You see I lived in Madison and Appleton and worked for Shopbop by Amazon and now the USPS in Appleton. I had Illinois taxes taken out for about half of my Shopbop before they started taking Wisconsin out. Now the I am working for the USPS because I put my parents address in Illinois as my permanent address they are sending state taxes to IL too. So when I read this on the Tell us about your Illinois Income page "How do I figure this out?" hyperlink "If your only Illinois income is wages earned in Illinois while you were a resident of Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, or Wisconsin, and you are filing to get a refund of Illinois tax withheld in error, enter $0 as the Illinois amount." I am not sure if I should enter the amount of income that was used to decide how munch to to send to Illinois or enter $0. Can you help me?
