Trying to get my taxes finished, and when trying to finish the WV return, it tells me I qualify for the Special Nonresident IT-140, but when I go to finish it, it says I need to review something, and goes on to say I do not qualify and wants me to check a different box. Why is this happening?
Living in Ohio, I shouldn't have to pay any WV taxes, correct? Why does it want me to change the form? I should not owe any WV tax if all the money I made in WV is wages/salary?
Thanks for the help.

Yes, you are correct that you do not owe any money to WV for the wages you earned there while living in Ohio.
Check your answers on the WV nonresident return. According to the WV instructions, for residents of Ohio:
"only part III of Schedule A needs to be completed. Mark the nonresident special box on page 1, Form IT-140."
I went back through and checked all the answers.
Still saying for some reason I need to change right after telling me I qualify for it. Im just gonna keep going through it. I know I don't owe WV taxes, so Im not sure why it would say I qualify and then tell me I need to review it and change it. It's the only income I have from WV. No gambling winnings, etc.
Thanks for the help!
Most contingent states have reciprocal agreements with all neighboring states. I believe their is one such agreement between Ohio and West Virginia. In that case no taxes should be due for West Virginia. Having said that, most Payroll departments will deduct taxes in the state where you physically perform the work. You will have to file a West Virginia tax return to get back any taxes withheld. Some states will require you file a paper return for your refund of taxes withheld.
