Live in il ALL my life what date of resident ?

It is a 2023 tax return.  Use dates for 2023.   Like January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.

In the My Info section of the program when asked for your resident state you should have selected Illinois as your resident state.  Then when asked if you lived in another state you should have selected NO.  When asked if you made money in another state you should have also selected NO, if that was the case.

Go back and review your answers.

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen and Edit your personal information.

Did you say that you lived in another state in 2023 in your Personal Info section?  If not, make sure Illinois is selected.  (see image below)

To edit your Personal Info in TurboTax:

1. Open your return.
2. Enter personal information in the Search box.
3. Click on jump to personal information link.
4. You can Edit your name, address, filing status, etc., on your Personal info summary page.
