It keeps wanting to know when I moved to California in 2017. But we DIDNT move to ca in 2017. we moved away from ca in 2017???

In the My Info section for your name you should have entered your resident state as of 12/31/2017.  Then you should have indicated that you lived in another state and from the dropdown selected California and then the date you moved to your current resident state.

I went back and checked: I did all that. I'm done with the return other than the fact it wants me to correct my residency and it keeps asking me when I moved to California; I answer that we moved to ca in 2015 and moved to Colorado 9-1-2017. stuck in a cul-de-sac......

So the California state section of the program is requesting the dates you were a resident of California?
