It is telling me that I am not elidgable for the California Earned Income credit, but I looked over the qualifications and I should qualify...

Not all of the state forms are finalized yet. Wait until the second week of January and try again. The IRS will not accept returns until at least Jan. 23, so there is no need to rush.
