Even though on the New York State Information Worksheet it list me, as the taxpay and my wife os the spouse. TurboTax filled in the IT-203 with mi wife as the taxpayer using her Social Security number. It left Spuse's name BLANK and put mySS# in the Spouse's Social Security # field. Even theugh the tax return was submitted and accepted, NYS claims we did not file. I assume it has something to do with the incorrect details. How can I fix this and resubmit?

That is the correct way to fill in the names on Form IT-203 if your wife had New York income and you did not have New York income. There is nothing for you to fix. Do not try to resubmit your New York tax return.
Where exactly does New York "claim" that you did not file? Are you trying to check your refund status on the New York State website? Try entering your wife's Social Security number, not yours. Double check the other information that you enter.
I file eary since our returns are simple, just a couple of W2s, 1099s and mortgage information. Our primary residence is NJ. I completed our return an submitted Federal, NJ State and NY stated on 2/5/26. All were accepted. I received my refund for Federal and NJ State but wating on NY. On checking the website, NY claims no retun submitted. I check using both mine and my wife's social securtiy numbers. When I called NY State all they said is that I need to wait more time. It's been over 5 weeks since I submitted and the other have completed over two weeks ago.
What would you suggest is the next step?
If the state told you to wait longer, I guess the next step is to wait longer. Maybe they're backlogged. Each state, and the IRS, processes their own tax returns on their own schedules, so the fact that you got your federal and New Jersey refunds doesn't tell you anything about New York. The fact that the New York return was accepted means that they did get it.
One other thing I guess you could try is to call again and see if you get a different answer from a different representative. Try asking specifically if they have a record of returns that were accepted but not processed yet.
