We moved from California to Massachusetts, and one of our W2s includes income earned in both CA and MA. When filing MA taxes, we come to "Income taxed by another state", but we are lost as to how to find the 5% income taxed by other states with we were a part-resident of MA. It seems no matter what number we put, it is an error. This number comes from Schedule OJC question 1, which references Form 1-NR/PY line 12 while a part-year resident that is taxed by other jurisdictions. Any help appreciated. We have one W2 that covers CA and MA income, one MA W2, two CA 1099, and one 1099 that covers both CA and MA income.

You probably don’t need to complete the screen for income taxed by another state.
Part-year residents are generally taxed only on income earned while living in-state.
There should not be any overlapping or double-tax income if you moved to Massachusetts from California. Neither state taxes remote workers.
All income earned while living in California is taxed by CA. All income earned while living in Massachusetts is taxed by MA.
If your employer continued to withhold CA tax after you moved to MA, that will be accounted for by the subtraction for non-Massachusetts income. It would not be double-taxed income because it was a mistake, so the difference would be subtracted from MA.

Thank you for your clear explanation and for taking the time to answer. The process was not super self-explanatory.
