In my California state taxes, every review comes up with a bad value for Mortgage Interest Adjustment.

My home  is a duplex that I own and the other half rented out.  
Turbotax Federal handled the division of the mortgage interest fine, but this situation has  apparently confused the CA state portion of  TurboTax. No value for the "Mortgage Interest Adjustment" in schedule CA part 1 seems to satisfy the Turbotax review process, coming back with an error 'total adjusted California interest and/or points cannot be greater than the total interest/points."
