You will file two part-year resident state returns, one for CA and one for WI. Your income will be prorated based on the time spent in each state and no, you won't pay more taxes because of the proration.

Am I able to submit an amended Wisconsin state return through TurboTax? It was fairly easy to amend the federal return but the state return is not recognizing the 1099-R.
