If my Illinois state tax return is over $1300 less than what I filed for through Turbo Tax what should I do?

If the state of IL reduced your refund, they will be sending you a letter to explain why. TurboTax does not receive any information from your state when a refund is offset for a past debt, or for a change the state made. You could also try contacting the state to ask.
