If I Filed an Amended Federal Tax Return, Must I Amend My State Return if my tax liability has not increased?
The amendment to the Federal Return increased my federal refund. However, the state refund has not increased much and since you have to print and mail the state amendment it will probably cost more in postage and hassle to file the state amendment. So must I file the state amendment in this situation?

You wouldn't normally need to file the state return if you don't want to, since you don't owe additional money.
Please clarify -- what state are you referring to?
States have different requirements.
I'm actually dealing with two states. Missouri and Kansas. Thanks

My States are Delaware and Maryland. I live in Delaware and no longer live in Maryland. My amended Maryland return indicates I owe Maryland. Since I have no affiliation with Maryland should I pay them and file the amended state return?
