If I am active duty Navy, stationed in Florida, but I am an Ohio resident do I chose that I am an Ohio nonresident or resident?
You are an Ohio resident and must file an Ohio return. Yo get to deduct your out of state military pay, before tax is calculated; so most service personnel pay not Ohio tax.
