I worked in CA, then moved to TX. W2 shows CA income in box 16. But the only income tied to CA are my RSUs. Do I need to calculate days worked in CA and apply factors?

My W2 comes with X amount of CA wages, which is pretty close to the RSUs I sold. But I only worked in CA until 2023... do I need to calculate the days worked in CA factors myself to figure out what to enter in "How much of your salary from federal form W2 did you earn in California?"

Yes, you need to consider the days worked in California versus the days worked outside California during the period beginning with the granting of the stock units to the date they vested. That will determine how much of the income is taxable in California.
