I sold an inherited home & the title company paid state taxes in CO. I live in MO never lived in CO. Should I be able to reclaim that money from the state of Colorado?

If the property was in Colorado, you do have to pay taxes on the sale in Colorado.  However, you may claim the taxes you pay in Colorado on this income as a credit on your Missouri return.  Missouri also taxes the income but will give you a credit for the tax you pay to Colorado to reduce the double-taxation that occurs when both states are allowed to tax a type of income.
