I recently moved from VA to FL in April 2018 with the same employer. I am a little confused on how I am to file my federal taxes since I am not technically a FL resident.

I still have my VA license and will be moving to VA in June.

You just file a VA resident return like you always have along with the federal one. Moving temporarily to FL changes nothing.
