Can you clarify what kind of notice you received? Was there a discrepancy in the total state tax calculated by TurboTax or was there some sort of mismatch of withholding reported?
It’s best to contact your state directly to learn more about the letter you received. Select yours from this link for Department of Revenue contact information.
It was DTF-160, Account adjustment notice and said I had made computational errors.
The AGI and taxable income computed by the state matched my return.
The income tax on that taxable income was $70 more in the state’s calculations.
However, when I calculated the tax manually, it was between the other two values.
If there’s a secure way to provide the state’s notification to TurboTax to review, it might clear this up and help others.
Withholding was not a factor.

I do not want to contact the state tax department. I'm sure they'll tell me that the tax amount on my AGI is what they calculated it to be.
I do not want to purchase any additional Turbotax products.
I want to make you and other users aware that the tax amount on my NYS AGI provided in Turbotax is inconsistent with the tax amount calculated by the NYS Tax Department.
You need to look into this and, probably, issue a fix ASAP. I'm willing to provide details in a secure manner . Then one of your staff can check the math.
Update. And I think I owe Turbotax an apology (but I'm still disappointed with the lack of interest in reviewing my situation and ghosting me on this thread).
After the NYS tax department reduced my refund due to a miscalculation of tax on my income, they later sent me an additional refund check for the same amount they claimed I was off. No explanation other than "miscalculation" again but I have to conclude that NYS made the math error in checking my return.
