I owe federal tax but get a refund from state of Missouri. If I file with Turbo Tax now, will Turbo Tax file Missouri's and let me do federal at a later date myself?

Unfortunately, in order to E-File your state return, you must file your federal return first.

you can efile both then not send the payment until later. Say you will mail a check and it will print out a voucher. The tax due is not due until April 15. Maybe you will get the state refund by then.
