I need to change the taxable wages amount on the state form. How do I do this?

I have my W2s, the taxable amount was entered into the state form incorrectly.

Navigate back to the Federal section, and EDIT each of those W-2 forms in the software.

Check boxes 15-to-17 on each one very closely.

In most cases, the federal AGI carries to the state form and the state interview gives you an opportunity for adjustments.

If you are filing multiple States, lines 15-17, at the W-2 screen is the place to allocate wages, by state.  You may have to adjust what's shown on your paper W-2.
