I moved midyear from Texas to Maine. my 1099-misc is for work in TX only, but my return is taking taxes out of Maine refund. how do I tell it its for TX only?

Be sure you file as a Part-Year resident of Maine. The program should then ask you how much of your total income to allocate to Maine. Do not include the Texas portion.

I won tickets :1099MISC in the amount of $1240. Enter the adjusted amount of fair market value of prizes: $1240 . fed refund did not reduce. why?
