You are a part-year California resident.  The portion of the year that you were living and working in Florida is not taxed in either state.  California does not tax you because you neither worked nor lived there when you earned that income.  The fact that the company is based in California is irrelevant.  California only taxes you if you live in California or if you are physically present working in California.  Florida has no state tax at all.  So you will file a California part-year return to report the percentage of income that is taxable in California.
