I'm a NV resident working for a CA utility who sends me to NV to work on some sites. Is income earned while working in NV taxed by CA? Is paid vacation taxed by CA?
The utility is a national publicly traded utility.

No. CA can only tax from income earned in CA. So, unless you actually go to sites in CA, it is all NV income.
California does consider paid vacation as wages, but this would not apply to you since your are not subject to CA income tax.
If CA taxes were withheld, you will file a CA Non-Resident tax return for a refund.

I do work at CA sites.
So I just subtract wages earned in NV when entering CA income source in the State program interview?
Are my vacation wages still taxable by CA since I work in both CA and NV?

So as an example: 75% of my income is earned at CA sites and 25% is earned at NV sites.
That means 25% of my vacation wages are not CA taxable?
